What is Reishi?

Red Reishi mushroom belongs to the Ganoderma genus, part of the Basidiomycetes Poliporacea species of mushroom. It has been used traditionally in the chinese medicine for more than 2000 years, because of it’s high content of bioactive compounds, triterpenes and polyssacharides, such as betaglucans.


What varieties of Reishi mushroom are?

In Ganoderma genus, there are a long list of species, being the most notable: G. applanatum (artist’s conk), G. lingzhi (red reishi), G. lucidum (frequently misidentifies on products labeled reishi or lingzhi), G. sinense (black reishi) and G. tsugae (hemlock varnish shelf). G. lingzhi is the variety with the highest content of bioactive compounds, we grow a high quality strain with great percentage of triterpenes and ganoderic acids.

Which are the medicinal properties of Reishi?

Medicinal properties of Reishi come from its metabolites, including polysaccharides, triterpenes, proteins, among others. Diverse studies have shown effectiveness in anti-aging, anti-hypertension, lowering blood pressure, improving immunity, anti-tumor, anti-viral, anti-nociceptive, hypoglycemic, hypocholesterolemia, hepatoprotection effects.

How can I take Reishi?

Reishi is a natural food supplement, there are various Reishi’s presentations with different use. You can add the Reishi powder to your meals for seasoning or baking, or you could make infusions with the Reishi fluffy powder, or slices; both presentations could be used in soups preparations too. Micronized Reishi can be added to any kind of beverage, like juices, water, tea, coffee or milk.


What amount of Reishi should I take?

It depends of the product presentation, in general, the recommendation is to consume Reishi 2 times a day to notice the benefits after about two weeks (results can vary from individual to individual). If you are consuming pure Reishi (extract or micronized) the amount recommended is 1-4gr per day.


Contraindications of Reishi

Reishi is a natural health food supplement there are no side-effects or contraindications related to the consuming of it. Is useful for all age groups.

We conduct periodic analyzes, both internally and by an external laboratory. These analyzes certify the quality of the product, guaranteeing the high content of bioactive compounds in the strain we grow, which is the one with the highest content of triterpenes and polysaccharides.

We make sure to use high quality raw material, so that the medicinal properties of the strain we grow, Ganoderma lingzhi, are not modified. We obtain the raw material from our environment, making a selection of the best woods (oak, holly oak, chestnut and beech) to obtain the best substrate for Reishi.

Our cultivation is completely natural, without addition of chemicals or fertilizers. We take care of recreating the natural conditions for the development of the mushrooms, maintaining rigorous controls of temperature, humidity, light, CO2.

In our organic cultivation, we control the entire production process, from the selection of raw materials, substrate preparation, inoculation, crop growth and harvest, ensuring the traceability.

Reishi Slices

The whole Red Reishi cap, cut into thin slices and dried for easy use. You can make tea decoction, also can be used in broths. 

Reishi Seasoning

Our organic Reishi powder is made from the whole fruiting bodies of Red Reishi mushrooms. Gently grinding, can be added to all your recipes, including baking recipes. Use like a culinary herb. It’s free from gluten, lactose, artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners andpreservatives.



Reishi Infusions

Red Reishi special grinding for infussions (fluffy powder). Put the powder in water and boil at high heat, as soon as the water boils reduce the heat to low and let infuse. This drink can be served cold or hot. You can add sugar or honey to soften the bitter taste.

Micronized Reishi

Pure Red Reishi micronized, this is the finest grinding, it preserve all the active ingredients of the mushroom. You can add this to any beverage or recipe, like smoothies, fruit juices, milk, coffee, tea, broths, etc. Free from gluten, lactose, artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners and preservatives.

We are growers of organic medicinal mushrooms, specialized in Red Reishi (Ganoderma lingzhi) mushroom cultivation.

We are a young company, located in a small town of the Central Catalonia, called Casterllterçol, surrounded by forests of oaks, holly oaks and beeches. Our team is integrated by enthusiastic people, motivated by the pursuit of natural alternatives that can help us to improve our health in a safe manner.

Our goal is to become a reference company of investigation and development of products from medicinal mushrooms; to be a center of proximity products for the European market.

We count with several greenhouses to have a flexible production of Red Reishi with their optimal climate conditions. This flexibility facilitates the constant maintenance of the greenhouses and a continuous production, if a technical stop is needed. An automated system keeps a constant temperature and humidity conditions in each phase of mushroom development.
